It seems to me that calling an amusing addition to a pointless
discussion stupid is rediculous.

Isn't the whole 'foobar' thing stupid (no I don't mean I haved hit the k
button on it I have rather enjoyed it) ? No not everybody majors
in Quntaum mechanics, I didn't but I understood the joke. Not everybody
understands all jokes but it is nice to have them around.

So to some up in a rather rude way :

FLAME ON
Go put your blinkers back on and read some nice easy to 
understand toilet jokes.
