How about the original, public domain KERMIT? It's an excellent program;
the version I use on SCO XENIX works fast & well. You couldn't call
it a terminal emulator per se, but whatever terminal you're using will work
fine. It supports a lot of different modem types as well. I believe the
PD KERMIT sources are available on the net, but any nearby UNIX installation
is sure to have them as well.
