I have an NCR PC-8 AT-clone with a Paradise Autoswitch EGA card and a NEC
Multisync display.  When running SCO Xenix, the whole visible raster shifts
left one character position (compared to DOS, measured with a ruler) along
with the following effects:

  + the first character on each line is visually doubled
  + the 80th character on each line is visually lost

What have/haven't I done?
