When having an RS-232 link between two computers, be careful not to have two competing logins, else the system may (and probably will) crash. So make sure that one of teh logins if OFF before using `/etc/init q'. But, all of my connections are through Bell Technologies HUB6 6 port serial card (A wonderful addition to my Compaq Unix System!)
