Summary: looking for info




I'm looking for information on, and/or references to a windowing package
that allows unix style "pipes" (actually, named pipes) between
windows in a multiprocessor/ multi-application environment.

In particular, this would be used to "quickly (read visually)" prototype
parallel applications.  Of course, there would be *many* applications
which could take advantage of this style of *programming*...
