   We have just finished building the CLX that comes with X.V11R1 and are
ready to test it out. Although there is a mailing list for CLX discussions
(cl-windows), I thought I might mention one problem we had with building it. 

   The compile-clx (in defsystem) has some problems in that there are many
deftypes in the various files that are not evaluated when compiling. To
solve this, we had to wrap each deftype in a (eval-when (eval compile
load...)) to force evaluation. This approach worked fine.
