In a recent piece of mail on CLX under Lucid, Alan Schultz mentions
that deftypes are not handled at compile time.  This problem exists in
Sun Common Lisp 2.0.2, but was fixed for Sun Common Lisp 2.0.3.  See
the "Read This First" which came with the Sun Common Lisp release for
details on how to load the patches which create 2.0.3 out of 2.0.2.
