One of my users is a moderator of a mailing list.  We want to have a
local moderated newsgroup that feeds into (and is fed by) this mailing
list.

I understand how to get messages posted to the newsgroup sent to the
moderator.  What I do not entirely understand is how to get messages
that the modertor posts sent into the newsgroup properly authorized and
coming from the real sender of the message.

I know that there are a lot of moderators out there.  I have not seen
any "moderation software" though.  It must (?) exist.

Could somebody please send me a copy of the software that is used by
the moderator of a newsgroup?
