We have an old Tek mainframe, but Tek wants ~$1000 to get it working again. Does anyone out there in net.land know of any good storage scopes in this price range? Our requirements are not terribly stringent: this is mostly for audio work. But we do need storage. Digital is ok as long as the sampling rate is at least 50kHz on non-repeatitive waveforms. The other alternative is to find a cheaper repairman. Has anyone had experience with getting Tek scopes repaired/cal.ed by someone other than Tek? As always, any suggestions are gratefully appreciated. -- Paul H.
