I just got a notice in the mail of an attempt being made to set up a
Toronto users group for the Minix operating system.  (For those who don't
know what this is, Minix is a near-public-domain re-implementation of V7
Unix, currently running on IBM PCs and compatibles and soon to appear for
the Atari ST.)  The first meeting will be on Oct 6, nominally 1930-2030,
in room 144 of the Wallberg Building at U of T.  (Wallberg is on the NE
corner of St. George and College, two blocks west of Queen's Park subway.)
Topics to include organization and software distribution.
