Summary: Saying yes to life sometimes means doing drugs In article <1184@puff.wisc.edu> mading@puff.wisc.edu (Eric Mading) writes: ]It is just sad that some intelligent netters ]who want drugs like LSD legalized so they can use the drug ]without fear of going to jail have no real life. Eric, my lad, you are a complete fool. I don't think I've ever run into anyone on the net who thought less before opening his/her mouth than you do. Have you no shame at all? ]If they were to die right now, few would mourn theirdeath because ]they never lived. That is insensitive nigh on to being immoral. ]As for me, who gets high on life without most ]chemicals, I will be missed when I pass on to heaven. Well, I wouldn't recommend chemicals for you, but I suspect someone, somewhere would miss you (possibly not on the net :-). Heaven doesn't suggest itself as your most likely destination, however. ]That is because I am ]LIVING. Those who use drugs are not living, they are just EXISTING. Give us a break, airhead! You have no idea what you're saying! ]The real answer is low-cost treatment, education, and better enforce- ]ment of our borders to keep drugs out. Somewhere along the line we have to try to teach you something. Low- cost treatment and education would surely help our drug problems, and so would decriminalization, which you're against. But the lack of quality to your thoughts is sticking out in that last part, isn't it? Enforcement of *what* borders? Surely you don't think the "bad" drugs are imported? I grew up in the town containing the world's largest distillery, and it would be cruel and inhumane treatment to force any native of Peoria to remain there! ]Disclaimer: I don't speak for my University. Thank Hera for that! I mean, the standards are going noticeably downhill that we let you in here, but so far they haven't sunk to the point where you're our representative looney! ==ARPA:========anderson@vms.macc.wisc.edu======Jess Anderson====== | UUCP: {harvard,rutgers,akgua,ihnp4, 1210 W.
