Quite right, but the adjectival forms differ: "mirnyi" = "peaceful", as in "mirnoe ispol'zovanie" = peaceful use, but "mirovyi" = "world", as in "mirovaya voyna" = world war, which is about what we're going to have if people do not edit their Newgroups line to exclude comp.os.minix from this protracted PDP-11 stuff!
