Talk about ZING!!! I know of one person who benchmarked one of the early (relatively slow) Unibus "fast" floating point add-on processors and was mighty surprised. It turned out that his 11/45 with the FFT running from SCAT45 was as fast as the add-on box! Maybe the box was terribly slow, but the box makers were surprised. I don't remember which one... -Mike
