I was wondering if anyone in Netland could advise me on the following: 1) How much would it help to put our 60 megabyte database on a separate file partition, avoiding UNIX's file system overhead? 2) What is the optimal setting for the system parameters given that we have 8 megabytes of memory? Also, has anyone had any experience with UNIFY's fourth generation language, Accel. (I'm not sure if that's the name or not, just guessing.) Thanks for any information. P.S.
