The US Robotics 2400e is MNP Level 3, and the Black Box (I don't remember the name) I think is Level 4. I wouldn't recommend the Black Box modems. I ended up returning ours for a refund; they were expensive (about $550), and not as compatible as they should have been. On the other hand, I have no problems at all recommending the US Robotics 2400e modems. I think they're wonderful. They work, they're compatible, they're cheap (we shopped around and bought 7 of them for $405 each), and the documentation and firmware are both excellent. -Brent -- Brent Chapman Senior Programmer/Analyst koala!brent@lll-tis.arpa Capital Market Technology, Inc. lll-tis!koala!brent 1995 University Ave., Suite 390 Phone: 415/540-6400 Berkeley, CA 94704
