I'm familiar with this approach. Sure, you can diddle your dialer to turn off MNP, but it is not possible to reliably turn it back on again at the end of an outgoing uucico connection. Problem is (at least on the MultiTech) that there aren't separate settings for dialin and dialout auto-MNP mode. So, when a uucico dialout connection finishes, auto-MNP mode is now off for dialins. --dave yost P.S. I wish these backward hi-tech comanies like MultiTech would get hooked up to the net!
