If you send a message to a GNU mailing list, sometimes you will
get an error message saying "user unknown" for the list you
mailed to and for a dozen other sublists.

The error message is a lie.  (Actually, it is self-contradictory.  If
the main list name were really unknown, why would the mailer even
consider the sublists?)  Nothing is actually wrong.

Don't send your message again.  Don't tell us about it.  We cannot do
anything about it.
