The debate concerns the proper pronunciation of the C language variable type "char". 1. One group claims it is pronounced like first syllable of "charcoal". 2. Another group says it is pronounced like the word "car". 3. Still another group says it is pronounced "care". We would greatly appreciate any opinions on the subject. - Mark "Ban Hippies" Kaplan
