(If for you it's not: how do you say "care" and how do you say "CHARacter"?) Yet another possible way is to say "character" even though that's not how it looks in the text. A related issue is "bin"(ary) and "lib"(rary) : do you say "bin" (like what you put potatoes in) or "bine"? "Lib" (as in women's lib) or "libe"?
