The Sun NeWS Release 1.0 distribution includes a command "dumpfont" which
converts fonts between various formats, one of which is Adobe ASCII bitmap
format.  Does anyone know what this is?  It looks much like a .afm file,
but includes a bitmap (in hex) for each character.  Do any interesting
and/or useful programs use it?
