Hi!

I'm interested in finding a magtape drive controller that sits on a
(IEEE-796 standard) Multibus.  I'd like it to be able to run Storage
Technology Corp (STC) 1953 drives (they're 125 ips start/stop jobs).
However, at this point, I'd be happy with leads to any tape controller
anyone can provide me.  Oh, I'm well aware Aviv Corp. makes such a
controller, but I've found its design and manual so abysmal (my opinion)
as to be impossible to write a completely working Unix driver for.  If
anyone can prove me wrong on that account, I'd be happy to hear from you
as well.

Also, any pointers to any companies making any type of Mulibus devices
would be appreciated, I'd like to find out what sort of hardware is out
there that I can possibly connect to this machine.
