Has anyone tried to use the new DEC DESPR as a cheap substitute for
a DEMPR?  (The DESPR is a single port DEMPR).  Anyone familiar with
what the limitations (NOT the guidelines) of the DEMPR/DESPR
products for repeating an Ethernet signal is?  In particular, could
I use an N-channel to BNC connector to acheive the effect of a DEREP
using a DESPR?  Any general comments also welcomed (send by mail if
you don't feel they are of general interest).  Thanks -
