I was wondering who has institution (campus/company/...) whois available 
on  the network.  Here at UC Davis  our database for  whois includes all 
faculty  and staff on campus. It is also  possible to do a lookup of all 
personnel  in  a  particular  department.  To  use  our  whois,  specify 
UCDAVIS.EDU  as the host.  For help, do a lookup  on "help", and it will 
return a help page. 

If  you also have a whois database  available, send me a note indicating 
the  host to whom to send the request,  who  is included in the database 
and  any special features that are available.  I will  post a summary to 
the net of any responses.
