It doesn't load any code onto the board, just uses 3Com's on-board ROM, so I don't know how it would work with an OEM's add-ons. I've seen a 3Com "3C505 Etherlink Software Developer's Manual", p/n 1569-01, with a source diskette containing some example low-level drivers, but again, I don't know how well it would correspond with an OEM's add-on ROMs. I would recommend trying to find out from the OEM what they did to it.
