The indent program with 4.3 BSD has a "-troff" option to produce code formatted
ala vgrind, only I can't find any macro packages to process the output.  Surely,
several hundred C hackers have written one and wish to place their effort
in the public domain.  Or perhaps, I missed them and they are right in
front of my nose.
