Back when it was fashionable to beat on 4.2 for all it deficiencies,
some one managed to but telnet and rlogin into the kernel (somehow
using the select system call).  

What I'm wondering is if someone has done this for 4.3.  If so, is it 
publicly available?  If it hasn't been done yet, anyone have any pointers
on how I can get a hold of the 4.2 revisions?
