Once again, here's a news flash from "Down Under".  I have no affiliation with
Neriki, I just thought I let you know what's going on here.
(My last report prompted one request from a math student from San Diego)

                      Desktop computer makes color prints


               A   desktop   computer   can    produce    slides    or
          high-resolution prints in more than 4000 colors thanks to an
          Australian-developed  interface  between   Commodore   Amiga
          microcomputers   and  the  Polaroid  Palette  computer-image
          recorder.

               The Sydney-based computer and television company Neriki
          Australia  developed  the  package with the help of Polaroid
          Australia.  The Australian company plans to sell the package
          in  Australia  and  overseas  and  has formed a new company,
          Neriki Computer Graphics, for marketing  and  exporting  the
          Australian Neriki-Amiga Polaroid Palette software system.

               The  software   system   comprises   a   keyboard-   or
          mouse-operated  graphics  package  and a cable adapter.  The
          system allows the Palette to record images generated by  all
          Amiga models.

               Neriki will sell the whole system for $5596 [Aus]  plus
          tax.   It  comprises  an  Amiga personal computer, a Palette
          image recorder, hardware interface, adapters  for  35mm  and
          Polaroid  0.5  by  4.5  inch  color print and overhead slide
          films, software, cables and connections.
