Lines: 29 Keywords: ROM Wack, Debugers, 9600 baud terminal, serial port As most of you know, the Amiga has support for a 9600 baud terminal as a debugging device. I never discovered out how to dump to ROM Wack on a Guru, however. When I dusted off a Kickstart V1.1 the right mouse button would work, under V1.2, no. Carolyn Scheppner provided the secret: Press the delete key on the remote terminal duing the blinking light (before the impending guru). "poof", it worked. This is *not* listed in the version of the RKM that is available to me. Never seen mention of it anywhere before. --------------- To try this out, just type "libs:diskfont.library" from any CLI. (When that bug is fixed I'll have to write a custom Guru maker :-) However, to get to ROM wack you don't really need that Guru. From a CLI type "loadwb -debug", and use the invisible menu to select item "debug". Type "user" or "resume" from the remote to restart the Amiga when you are finished. |\ /| . Ack!
