I still have mine becuase, 1) I like it, and 2) I have investments in it that I want to keep. What's the problem? Of course all this depends on your local dealers policy. CBM doesn't support the "buy back" option. Just the "upgrade". How many options do you wan't? Imperial Business Machines? 8^) I "kept" my A1000 for $250, and got the A2000 at $1000 off retail.
