I would like to post my Killer Demo entry, "Marketroid", to the Net. However, I am in a dilemma as to how to do it and not annoy the net.gods. Marketroid uses custom fonts, which must be present. Hence, uuencoded binaries. However, I'd also like to distribute the source (since I always do that anyway). Do I post an executable with fonts to the binaries group and sources to the sources group? Or do I shar the whole thing into one big file and ship it to one place? Or do I arc it? In any case, we're looking at over 100K of stuff. Personally, I'd prefer to arc the whole schmere, uuencode it, and throw it at comp.sys.amiga. That way, everyone gets the whole package. I feel that a shar file would be larger, even after compression by the news software. So, I'm taking suggestions on how to post this thing correctly so I can maximize the pleased users/annoyed net.gods ratio. Leave your votes in my mailbox.
