Message-ID: <4089@garfield.UUCP> Date: Sat, 24-Oct-87 11:57:26 EST Article-I.D.: garfield.4089 Posted: Sat Oct 24 11:57:26 1987 Date-Received: Mon, 26-Oct-87 06:17:51 EST Organization: CS Dept., Memorial U. of Newfoundland, St. John's Lines: 35 Keywords: 2000 in 1, A1000 [] This is more of a plea to all ye third party pheripheral makers: Please design with the A1000 in mind ( and for that fact A500 ) I have seen a large collection of "designs" that come close to being nothing more of a thrashcan that one slaps on. Functionallity and other reasons aside, I also bought the A1000 simply because it looked beautifull....!!! So my "minimum" wish list for for ye guys: - SAME color as the host machine ( the A1000, for ye non netters ) ( Urgent PLEA for ye ADSG, I am buying the 2000 in 1 if this is true, and price < $1000 .. ) - If there are any "light" emitting devices, have it positioned the same height + orientation as the other found on the A1000, and no ROUND ones for that matter... - if unit is flushed with the front of the A1000, have it continue the grooves ( I like that ... :-) ) that are noticable on the A1000. - Maybe even a parking garage for my mousepad and mousie ?? :-9 Obviously, not all wishes can be considered for the A500, and for the A2000, well just be plain ugly, give the, a bare board.. :^) PS I am willing to pay 10 to 20 % more for a pheripheral that was designed with the beauty of the A1000 in mind... And whatever you do DO NOT take the example of the sidecar.... derick@garfield.mun.cdn derick@garfield.UUCP
