	Most likely, you're using 7-bit ascii to download an object file--bad
news.  Make sure that you 'set file type binary' on your host kermit server,
and set the transfer type to 'image' (if there is more than one type) on your
Amiga kermit program.  There shouldn't be any problem with ALWAYS using these
modes.  In fact, if your host is running BSD UNIX, you can create a .kermrc
file in your home directory that contains the lines
	set file type binary
	server
which will cause kermit to start up in server mode, with the file type set
correctly.
