   If you own a Rev 4.2 B2000, I would appreciate it if you would try the
   following simple, albeit deadly, program:

   /*Deadly Test Program */
   #include "exec/types.h"
   #include "exec/alerts.h"

   main()
   {
      Alert(AT_Recovery|AG_OpenLib|AS_DOSLib);
   }
   /*EODeadly Test Program */

   Supposedly, this will post a Recoverable alert indicating that the 
   dos.library could not be opened.  In response, you press the left
   mouse button and the program cleans up the Guru requestor and exits;
   no harm done.  On my brand new B2000, however, this program crahes the
   machine.  If you would send me mail with your results, I would 
   appreciate it.
