The main problem is things like: struct BitMap {... UBYTE   depth...} also
in RastPort definitions etc.  This is no reason not to go higher then eight, 
but it will be a lot more work to do so.  If someone gives you eight, just
use 6 of them if you want, use the other two for overlays.
