I don't expect kludges to hang around forever, but you are telling me
"we don't support overscan, so do so at your own risk" when at the
same time, all the customers are saying "do you support overscan?  we
need overscan!  Package X and package Y support overscan, so what's
the problem?"  And the problem is, we support some features the other
packages don't, that if you do in overscan I have to monkey around
to make work, because C= doesn't support overscan.

If as Bryce postulates, the fact that MaxXMouse and MaxYMouse aren't
automatically updated when you OpenScreen() an overscan screen is considered
a BUG, and is to be fixed in a future OS release, that's a different story,
and Bryce had a reasonable and helpful idea of a work around.  All I
am hearing from C= right now is "tough!" effectively.

I agree.  I wasn't assuming that was the only alternative.

All I'm saying is "ok, I don't want to do what I'm not supposed to do,
but HOW DO I DO WHAT I NEED TO DO?".  So far, the C= answer has been
"you can't".   I'm sorry, but that's the WRONG ANSWER.
