I am not talking about hooking Macs and PC's to the network. We have lots of users wanting machines and a limited number of machines. I unlike probably anyone else who uses the Apollo would prefer good 'ol EMACS running on some kind of terminal to the display manager as it stands now. The only reservation I have in saying that is that alot of the software(like the debugger) loses a lot of its functionality without the dm. I do not mean to start a war about the display manager, I just wanted to explain my motivation for asking.
