Usually it is I who can't get mail through to UUCP addresses. Chris Chung has found that he can send mail to addresses that have messages from his APPLE2-L bounced (now that IS weird). Generally, it is much easier to get mail from UUCP sites onto bitnet than vice-versa. You have sent me mail in the past (who knows who changed what or which node went down). It appears that your messages route through ucbvax rather than psuvax1 -- perhaps your local postmaster can help you identify the alternate gateways to bitnet and you can find the one that works (today). It seems every time I see something from Patt Haring, it comes through a different gate (I don't know whether she does that on purpose, but if she does, possibly she can help you find a path that works). Unfortunately, as long as UUCP remains so fickle, APPLE2-L isn't going to be a reliable source of software for many readers of comp.sys.apple whose only node is on that net. --------------------- ARPA: sewall%uconnvm.bitnet@wiscvm.wisc.edu Murphy A.
