NO, Henry, you're not showing your age; but a little tolerance
goes a long way.  Interested in seeing how tolerant AMERICANS
are?  Take a peek at comp.society.futures - there's a battle
raging over Amnesty International; also look in news.groups
where A.I. bashing is becoming the norm.

Sheesh, I thought this was an *information* service - do we
really have net *censors* and net *gods* that say what can
and canNOT be said?

Take a trip around rec.humor - download a few epithets; hmmm,
epithets are allowed to be posted on USENET/UUCP, etc. but
Amnesty International and information about people being
abused/tortured/kidnapped/murdered is *not* allowed?

Please, give everyone a break; Poland is coming online -
the USSR will soon be online if it's not already; perhaps
if the net *gods* just ALLOW for Amnesty International then
governments might take *people* seriously and not treat
them like so much rubbish that can be discarded at the
whim of a challenged official.  

Take yourSELF on over to news.groups and vote ** YES **
for Amnesty International or soc.human.rights so that
everyone is not offended that one group has a newsgroup
all its own like soc.culture.jewish, soc.culture.celtic,
soc.culture.indian.
