Does anyone know if a PostScript driver is available for the Fujitsu DL2400
printer?  Well, would you believe Epson LQ1500?  Or NEC P5 or P6 series?
These printers have resolution close to or greater than the popular lasers,
and should give a good account of themselves for PostScript output.
The Fujitsu, which I have, has 360 by 180 resolution, and the NEC is
360 by 360, or somewhat better than the 300x300 laser printers.

If drivers are available, what machines do they run on?  I'd consider
choosing a computer for availability of such a driver.
