The Atari 3.5 Firmey disk drives do indeed use the standard 34 pin industry standard card edge connector. We have many people here that have from the very beginning of of the ST's introduction, attached 5.25 floppy disk drives via the inside 34 pin connector. You should have no problems. Just remember that you *must format the drive correctly. IE: Use a DOS that will allow 80 tracks one side if you get the SFS354 single sided drive, and 80 tracks both sides for the SF314 double sided drive.
