(also, if you could, reply to me if you receive this news; I am not sure my postings are leaving OSU... fill up my mailbox -- please!) I also have a Bitnet account on our IBM 4341 here. In the past I have tried without success to get anything that works from the Atarinet server in Houston. I am able to receive the file via Bitnet; but after I uudecode the files (and I have tried the Un*x uudecode here on this Pyramid and several uudecodes on my ST, including the brain-dead one written in ST Basic) I get a CRC failure on ST ARC and the "segmentation fault - core dumped" on the Un*x ARC. Help!!! I believe the problem is local, but am not sure. Mike (UACE0@ UHUPVM1) has sent me several replies, but nothing has worked... (sigh) If you have experienced similar problems, whether you have got a solution or not, please reply -- "I'll summarize and post to the net" (standard disclaimers apply) Thanks in advance for any and all help. My basic reason for this is to get the latest version of Uniterm (2.0 or above) -- I am using 1.6f (which does not have a working version of Kermit) and have spent ~10 unsuccessful hours with uuencoded binaries from Atarinet trying to get it.
