I've had them for quite some time, and haven't had any major problems.  There
are a few copy-protected games that won't work, but other than that all the
changes seem to be for the better.  GEM moves a lot more quickly, even without
a blitter chip.

Speaking of blitter chips, I heard that Atari finally announced that no upgrade
kits for 520s and 1040s will be made.  Anyone want to verify/deny that?  I
suspected from the first that they wouldn't do it (it's typical for Atari...)
