The clock/calendar on my ATT PC6300 died recently. It no longer automatically displays the correct time on boot-up and does not advance even when the correct time is entered at the "date" prompt. Before I get into the circuit with soldering iron etc. I should like to know if any of you have useful suggestions as to the likely cause in order to reduce my troubleshooting time. I do have the technical reference manual and am not too worried about getting in there to fix it but I should like to avoid having to re-invent the wheel? Thanks in advance, Graham Brand (... ucbvax!ucbjanus.berkeley.edu!brand) ( brand@janus.berkeley.edu )
