The real time clock on my 6300 appears to have died as it does not increment. Surprisingly, though, the boot-up diagnostics say: . . . RT Clock Passed . . but the diagnostic disk that came with the system indicates a fault. I have checked the battery and it is giving the correct voltage (3.6V). Before I get into the circuit with my soldering iron, can anyone suggest any common faults with these particular machines that I might check and so reduce my troubleshooting time? Thanks in advance. -Graham Brand (UUCP: ...!ucbvax!janus!brand)
