We compiled it, but when started, it core dumped. The main problem is, I think, that "S" is partly written in Fortran (Ratfor) and partly in C. And on the HP 9000/500 under HP-UX the Fortran- and the C-Compiler do not work so fine together as they should. So, does anybody i) has experiences with "S" on a HP 9000/500 ? ii) or has an idea, concerning our problem with such mixed Fortran/C - software ? iii) know, whether there is a version of "S" totally written in C ( or (UNIX-)Fortran ) ? iv) any other ideas ?
