has anyone taken the time to compile a listing of possible Smart VU(tm)
codes produced by the PC's Limited 286 machines?  

What follows below are codes that I have been able to identify given
my ROM version (A00-04).

send additions, corrections to me and i can recompile a list.  also, if
you're the proud owner of the SmartVU(tm) with the chasing LEDs, let me
know if you're interested in toggling it on and off.

Code   Probable Cause
----   --------------------------------------------------------------------
Er02:  CPU internal computation failure.
Er03:  Multiple RAM errors in low 64k.
Er04:  Video display adapter memory error.
Er05:  ROM checksum error.
Er06:  Parity error status bit cannot be reset.
Er07:  8254 timer is inaccurate or not clocking.
Er08:  Programmable logic array or RAM refresh failure.
Er09:  8742-controlled A20 gate not operating well in virtual mode.
Er10:  Virtual mode exception error or memory failure (or faulty 8742).
Er11:  14 MHz crystal is shorted or inoperational.
