A friend not on the net wants to upgrade his old Compaq Portable with Hercules-
type video, either Hercules or clone.

Does anyone know how to replace the original Compaq video adapter with a
Hercules-type display?

My friend has no net access.  Please post messages to the net, because my
mailer doesn't always work.
