I have been looking for a *REAL* spooler for MS-DOS machines.
I have not yet seen anything even CLOSE!

A Spooler (like most have OS's execpt unix) do the following:

1) accept data via a device like name (PR:) and spool it to a disk file
   for later (like when you close the assignment to PR:)

2) perform paging (w/page numbers, file name, date/time, header, etc)

3) accept print commands to print a specific file (directly or via the spool
   files used in item #1)

4) allow status commands to check what is on the queue and how many lines and
   how far it is (in lines or in %)

5) allow purge commands to remove items from the queue

6) (wish list) allow priority for various prints (maybe based on # of lines)

as I said MOST Operating Systems have this feature, why not MS-DOS???
[as noted above unix doesn't either, but it is Still needed!!!]
