I used the information supplied in the Hercules manual to set the 6845 registers. The program runs on the real Hercules card. Now I have a clone card, and it exhibits some peculiar behaviour with respect to the original program. If I try to run the program just after the machine has booted, the monitor doesn't sync to the graphics signal produced by the clone machine. However, if I run SuperCalc3 and exit immediately (SC3 followed by /qy), then my program works properly. What could the SC3 program be setting that my program is not? Tim
