Both are very good at operating a PC remotely. They use proprietary communication protocols, so you need to have two copies, one at each end. They handle things like direct screen writes, graphic pictures and the like. The only glitch I found is that Carbon Copy won't recongize the ALT key - used as a hotkey for DesqView. Otherwise, they work great. I've tried them with dBase III Plus, Lotus (All versions), FramwWork II, WordPerfect 4.2 and dialing into a PC that is part of a local area network (This allows me to dial into a LAN that doesn't have the dial-in ability.) I have'nt tried them with Paradox, but I'm positive it will work. Does anyone else have any experience with these programs?? A. Peter Belsanti University of Waterloo
